STAFF MEMBERS

KATHERINE E. RANE

Executive Director

Katherine developed a passion for immigration while representing immigrants during law school. As a Teaching Assistant, president of the Immigration Law club, and Lead Fellow of the school legal clinic, she led others who were interested in immigration. She was selected to receive a leadership scholarship for the same leadership skills she uses to direct the Foundation today. She is admitted to the bar in the state of Utah.

NATALIE L. MACIAS

Immigrant Advocate

Natalie grew up near the US border where immigration impacts everyday life. As an adult, she spent a year and a half living in Mexico. She is completing an undergraduate degree in Latin American Studies at Brigham Young University and plans to attend law school. Natalie's experience and education help her inspire individuals to connect with the Foundation’s mission.

LORENIA D. LIZARRAGA

Immigrant Advocate

Upon arriving in the United States as an immigrant, Lorenia helped start a successful family business. She also worked professionally while maintaining a home and raising children. She knows firsthand the process individuals go through to obtain legal immigration status and understands how complicated it can be. Her empathy and experience make her a powerful advocate.

ANDREA K. RANE

Immigrant Advocate

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Brigham Young University, Andrea worked at a homeless shelter through the AmeriCorps program. She has lived abroad in Argentina and Peru. Andrea passionately amplifies marginalized voices and works to build unified communities. Andrea is partially accredited by the US Department of Justice to provide legal representation in immigration cases before USCIS.

SILVANA A. PARDO

Immigrant Advocate

Before moving to the United States, Silvana studied journalism and worked in sales in Chile. As an immigrant herself, she knows how difficult it is to leave behind family and culture. Since arriving in the US, Silvana has worked as a legal assistant. She combines her skill in journalism with her legal knowledge to help individuals integrate into new communities when they immigrate.
